He has been a commercial fishing since 1993. Bossard has been engaged to Aritan and has joined their teams to take over their businesses. They believe in conservative, sustainable management of sustainable seafood resources. Otolith is a direct wholesale seafood distributor that was started by a woman in Philadelphia in 2007 by a mother of two young children: Bella aged 3, and Andre age 1. Its name is an affectionate recall of her extensive expertise in fish biology as well as her husband's extensive involvement to the industry of seafood, often leaving them separated for five months or longer as they work towards the environment and financial goals that reflect both their independence and commitment to their community wherever they live.
